Vincent Ross Holmes Vincent Ross Holmes passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 2, 2014 at the age of 61. Vince was born in Exeter on February 18, 1953 to Travis & Inez Holmes. Vince loved the simple things in life. He loved vacations with Connie, especially to the coast. He loved to stump us all with trivia. He loved his family more than life, family that included his animals. Vince loved animals so much, that even with the dogs he already had, when a skinny little stray showed up, he took him in without hesitation. That was Sammy! Vince loved golf. We spent hundreds of hours watching golf & many more talking about it. Golf will never be the same, ever. Vince had a huge heart & will forever be in ours! Vince was preceded in death by his parents Travis & Inez Holmes, brother Chris Holmes, nephew Aaron Holmes, grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins. Vince is survived by his wife Connie Holmes, daughters Jessica Homes & Tracy Erwin (Gerrod), brother Jeff Holmes (Sharie), mother-in-law Ruby Fairchild, sister-in-law Bonnie Gong, nephews Tyler & Zach Gong, Travis Holmes & numerous family & friends. Services are private. There will be an Open House gathering to celebrate the life of Vince on Sat, June 14th, 2PM-5PM, 800 Woods Place, Exeter.
