Michael L. Banks, passed away on December 18, 2017 after a long illness at the Elsmere VA hospital. He was born on October 5, 1953 to Sarah (Banks) Clark.

Michael enjoyed sports and being an outdoorsman and caring for his dobermans. Michael worked in carpentry after spending time in the US Army and was a lifetime member of the VFW in North East, MD.

Survivors include his parents Sarah and Carl Clark, wife Candace Banks. Also survived by his two daughters Felicia Scott of Baltimore, MD, and LaToya Bank of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren Carey M. Scott, Jr and Nova (Banks). Michael has three sisters Darlene Tolbert of Darlington, MD, Terry Hockaday of Port Deposit, MD and CarolannWilliams of Hinesville, GA. His nephews and niece held a special place in his heart; Robert Tolbert, Tony Hocakday, Kevin Hockaday, Derrick Williams, and LaKiesha Williams. He is also survived by two Aunts and one Uncle; (Helen Akins, Frances Honesty and Samuel Banks) a host of his loving nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
