Dwayne was my friend, teammate, and he was a good man. I have great respect for the Robinson family, a great Exeter FAMILY.
What few people know, outside his family, is that due to his playing multiple sports in high school, he sustained major leg/knee injuries playing football and baseball. These injuries were so serious that he was medically disqualified to serve in the U.S.Armed Forces. I can verify this fact, as we went to Fresno Armed Forces induction center together in December 1970.
Dwayne Robinson gave a lot to Exeter Union High School. Please remember and speak of Dewayne's memory in a positive manner. He deserves the respect.
