Eric Joseph Hankins

A private funeral service was held for Eric Joseph Hankins, 53, of Exeter, who has gone home to be with the Lord. He passed away April 27, 2006 in Bakersfield. Eric was born in Clarksville, Texas, March 6, 1953 and moved to Exeter in 1969. He met his wife, Peggy Covert here.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Hankins of Exeter; one daughter Stacy Griffin of Exeter, two sons, Jason and Alex Hankins both of Exeter; his mother, Frieda Marsh of Exeter; and one sister, Karen Hankins of Bogota, Texas. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Carrie Hankins and Cole Griffin, both of Exeter. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
